Basic Hand Tools Module

The Basic Hand Tools Module provides the operator with fundamental tools for fastening, cutting, measuring and prying.

Multi-Driver- This square drive ratcheting Multi-Bit Driver features 3-1/2” interchangeable power groove bits that are power tool compatible giving you maximum versatility. An all-metal ratchet gives you 2X faster driving in high-torque applications without sacrificing durability or control. The multi-bit screwdriver also has wrench-ready hex shanks providing additional leverage. The interchangeable bits are precision machined and chrome-plated, providing marine-grade rust protection and reduced wear. The screwdriver features magnetic bit retention providing consistent driving performance.

Keyhole Hacksaw – This 11” (279mm) keyhole hacksaw is used to cut openings in sheet metal, wood, or laminated materials. The sturdy pressure-cast handle ensures firm grip, good control and all-day comfort. Additionally, the durable finish on the cutting blade resists corrosion and grime. Four (4) replacement blades are included (2 for metal, and 2 for wood), and easy to swap out when required.

Claw Hammer – This 16oz claw hammer features a contoured fiberglass handle for increased comfort, a solid fiberglass core, and is factory balanced for maximum striking power.

Adjustable Wrench – This 6” (152mm) adjustable wrench features a large knurl for easy adjustment and a tight jaw fit. Its hex jaw design helps reduce slippage and  tightly grips the fastener for solid, secure operation, while the corrosion-resistant chrome finish helps prevent rusting. A wide handle design provides comfort and reduces fatigue during extended use.

Measuring Tape 5m (16’) – This measuring tape has coating on the first 100mm reduces the risk of breaking the tape by 95%, and provides a standout of 3.35 mm for easy one person measuring. The coated blade is up to 10 times more resistant to abrasion than normal lacquered blades, and a 3-rivet specially designed end hook makes this tape stronger. The wide blade makes reading numbers easy, and a cushion grip provides sturdy, slip-resistant hold.

Pry Bar- The pry bar is constructed from forged carbon steel which provides durability and strength. The bar is ideal for removing nails, lifting and prying objects. Bevelled cutting edges and nail slots for quality performance, and an extended tongue improves grip and reach in hard-to-get-at places.

External Pouch 52 – This pouch is made from rugged, abrasion-resistant fabric, and features mesh pockets on the interior lid, and elastic loops on interior rear, which is lined with Velcro® Loop for attachment of smaller pouches. The pouch has  a double slider zipper closure. The rear of the pouch features MOLLE straps with snaps for attachment to a carrier.

A removable adjustable shoulder strap allows the pouch to be used as a separate carrier. The rear side seams have an open-end zipper to facilitate attachment to additional 50 series pouches to form a larger pack.
