Belt Sling Module
The Belt Sling Module provides the core HAL® functions of attachment and anchoring. Belt and Webbing slings are suitable for moving objects that do not have an obvious point for main line attachment. The increased surface area provided by the width of the webbing or belt reduces the risk of slippage under a target object. These slings can also be passed around posts, trees or other large stable objects for use as an anchor point.
The Webbing Slings are made from heavy duty nylon, can be fastened around an object in two different ways. The single D-Ring can be simply threaded through the double D-Rings at the other end of the strap for a snare type hold which will release once tension on the strap is released. The single D-Ring can be threaded through both D-Rings and then looped back through one for a belt type hold that will remain secure even after tension on the strap is released.
Belt Sling – A PVC-coated woven polyester belt with a stainless-steel buckle. It forms a self-adjusting loop from 50 to 400 mm diameter. The free end threads freely through the buckle and has a length of strap ending in a stitched loop for the main line attachment.
The pouch is made from rugged, abrasion-resistant fabric, and features mesh pockets on the interior lid, and elastic loops on interior base. The pouch has a double slider zipper closure. The rear of the pouch features Velcro® Hook and two MOLLE straps with snaps to provide a variety of attachment options.
