HAL Core Kit

The BombTec HAL Core Kit provides the basic Hook & Line capabilities to conduct simple IEDD tasks. It can be used to form the foundation for a custom Hook & Line kit with the addition of HAL modules and your choice of carrier.

It is equipped with one of four color choices of Main Line; black, white, or high-visibility green or orange. The Main Line is carried in a robust protective Reel Bag, fitted with a clear plastic viewing window to give the operator an instant view of the contents without having to open the bag. It also has a pair of external pockets. This bag can be used as a carry bag to bring
tools downrange.

Each of the remaining Modules which make up the HAL Core Kit are supplied in a rugged, abrasion-resistant fabric pouch featuring a double slider zipper closure, a mesh pocket on the interior lid, and elastic loops on the interior base. As with the modular approach to the entire BombTec product line, each pouch features Velcro Hook backing and two MOLLE straps with snaps to provide the flexibility to affix modules to the interior or exterior of the BombTec Backpack, to MOLLE loops on Med-Eng Bomb Suits, or onto to most other tactical equipment.

Collectively, the Modules are carried in an External Pouch 33, which is made from rugged, abrasion-resistant fabric, and features a pass-through sleeve on the interior lid. The interior base has ample room and features a drawstring closure. Side closure zippers can be opened to allow the pouch depth to expand from 64mm (2.5”) to 127mm (5”) in order to accommodate larger product if required. The rear of the pouch features four MOLLE straps with snaps to provide a variety of attachment options, and the pouch is secured with two side release buckles.
