Handbrake Release Module

The Handbrake Release Module enables the Operator to semi-remotely release a push button type of handbrake, as part of a team’s response capabilities.

The Handbrake Release is an aluminium bracket which his secured over the traditional push button handbrake and lever which when remotely pulled by the main line presses the push button.

The 0.5m elastic Shock Cord is fitted with steel hooks at each end. In this application, the Shock Cord assists with downward motion of the Handbrake Release when activated by the main line.

This pouch is made from rugged, abrasion-resistant fabric and features a mesh pocket on the interior lid, and elastic loops on the interior base. The pouch has a double slider zipper closure. The rear of the pouch features Velcro® Hook and two MOLLE straps with snaps to provide a variety of attachment options.
